Free Debt Relief : 3 months until First Credit Card Paid
Okay everyone is still sick here so I’m going to keep it brief. I was trying to rework the budget to see if I could squeeze a little more out of the budget to pay off my credit cards. My first card is a bout 3 months from being paid off and I would love to get it paid off. See it can be done.
Since this is the first credit card account to fall to the snowball, I don’t plan to close it. Hopefully I can improve my debt to available credit ratio, so when I go to refinance my house I can get a better interest rate. . We’ll see how it goes.
It would be great to get this card paid off and start working on the next one for another reason. I mentioned in an earlier post on debt snowballing that I started with my smallest card because it offers an early taste of success. If I started with the card that has the highest rate I would be looking at my first card being paid off in 33 months. Having paid off card will be a great comfort to me over the next 2 and ¾ years. Hopefully I can cut that time with increased income and more controlled spending. Like I said, we’ll see how it goes.
