The end is near… or maybe not. I have been rolling my debt snowball and I’m making some progress. I have one credit card that is ready to be paid off and all the others  have decreasing balances. Yeah for me!!!

But like everyone who is trying to pay off their debt I can’t get it paid off soon enough. The problem is that spending makes you happy immediately even if the gratification is an illusion. Saving and paying off you debt offers a subtle gratification that you are likely to miss. And debt relief can seem so sloooow. It’s no wonder some people play the lottery and fall for every get rich quick scheme that comes along, hoping to get out from under.

Well, there’s not much you can do about the time it takes to get out of debt. It takes as long as it takes. All you can do is try to build momentum by sticking to you plan and continually looking for ways to improve your situation.

You’ll get there eventually even if the end isn’t as near as you would like.
