Free Debt Relief : Debt Homeostasis Busting- Solving Small Problems part 2

January 9th, 2007

I’ve been trying to train myself to identify small problems while they are still small. So I’ve adopted the practice of asking myself what small mistakes/problems I made each day at the end of the day. I found a few of them today which cost me a Famous Dollar.

Here’s what happened. I woke up a little late this morning so I didn’t take the time to eat breakfast. Those were mistakes one and two I believe. Then as I was heading out the door I realized I hadn’t made lunch but I didn’t go back and grab something. That is a problem when your trying to save money. I chose to ignore it and left the house anyway and that was mistake number three. When I got to work I found the cupboard was bare. Oops.

So I spent my dollar. Famous or not it was just a dollar. I suppose I could have just gone hungry all day but what would have been the point. It’s just a dollar. I’ve been hungry before so I spent a dollar on lunch. I figured a hungry irritable me was a bigger problem that I probably should avoid.

Anyway I got a few posts out of that dollar and an anecdote for my blog about small problems so I figure it’s a dollar well spent.
Gotta go earn another dollar.
