Personal Debt Relief : Sometimes You Have No Choice
January 25th, 2008He said ,” I’m sorry but we’re going to have to let you go.” I said,”Okay. Bye.”
Losing a Job is one of the worst feelings in the world. Unless your hate your job , the work you’re doing and all the people you work with 5 endless days a week. I’ve been fired/laid off 3 times in my life. twice in was better than all right with me I had some cash saved and wanted to catch up on my reading.
The third time was one of the worst days of my life. I had no cash and a $371.22 car payment. ( I just had to get that new car.) So what did i do? I ran up debt. Not the brightest thing to do but I was young and foolish. Especially since I figured I couldn’t sell the car for what I owed.
Eventually I found a job and after several long eventuallies I paid off the credit card debt I got in to while I was . I learned a couple things from the experience I learned don’t buy new cars ( I might have forgotten my lesson recently but I learned it then.) and I learned that credit cards might keep you from going under in a financial emergency but it is a very painful solution.
Sometimes you don’t have a choice but in retrospect I figure that mostly you do.
